The WI is what you make it, and its members are what make Cambridge Ladybirds WI an inspiring and fun community. Any woman over the age of 18 can join and we have members of diverse ages, backgrounds and interests.
Joining a WI entitles you to at least 11 meetings a year where you can get together with fellow members and learn or try out something new. We meet on the third Tuesday of the month and you can see our programme for details of what the Ladybirds have planned next.
Being a member of Cambridge Ladybirds WI also allows you to attend our very popular Craft Club. Our crafty Ladybirds meet on the first Monday of the month to share skills and show off our latest projects. We periodically run other members-only social events and activities such as games evenings, theatre outings, and nature and science trips. We also hold public events like swishes and fundraising stalls, which raise valuable funds for our chosen charity of the year and allow us to provide educational bursaries for our members.
Being a WI member also entitles you to eight copies a year of the WI membership magazine, WI Life, discounts at the WI’s very special training college, Denman, and regular newsletters and mailings to keep you up-to-date with all the news and events from the Cambridgeshire Federation and the NFWI.
Joining the Ladybirds is a great opportunity to meet new people, make friends and have fun as well as being part of an institution which is now 101 years old!
How do I join?
